2009, Thousands of Internet Pornography criminals arrested

DeFree, During 2009, China’s police have arrested thousands of perpetrators of Internet pornography. This seemed to be evidence of seriousness in confronting China Internet pornography.

Quoted by Reuters on Saturday (1/2/2010), China’s police have arrested the suspected perpetrators of crimes 5394 internet pornography and do
4186 criminal investigations during the year 2009. This amount is four times more than in 2008.

Party of China Ministry of Public Security in the official website reveals that the act of war against Internet criminals will be further improved in the year 2010.

“The police will be intensifying the punishment for internet users who violate regulations and laws,” said the Minister.

So far, China’s famous ‘vicious’ in blocking content deemed morally harmful younger generation, such as pornography and content
which could threaten the political government.

Some large sites have felt the ferocity of China, such as YouTube, Twitter, Flickr and Facebook.
